Attending “Prediction and Punishment: Cross-Disciplinary Workshop on Carceral AI” in Pittsburgh! I got to present some in-progress work and meet scholars from different fields focusing on how algorithmic and data-driven practices are implicated in the control and incarceration of people.


Attending the Association of Internet Researchers Conference in Philadelphia! Got to reunite with many different people, meet new people and learn about some really interesting research, attend my first doctoral colloquium, and chair a fascinating panel on “Mobile Platforms”.
